stretch of generally tame water, culminating in a series of
Class II and III rapids and climaxing near the very end into
Howard’s Plunge! HTE is conveniently situated between the
put in at Cabarton and the take out in Smith’s Ferry. There
is also the option to access the calm waters south of the
town of Cascade (home of the future Cascade Whitewater
Park); Or find some great fishing on the north side of
town. Many guided services are available on the water, from
lake and river guided fishing trips to whitewater rafting
adventure trips, ask your HTE managers how to plan for your
day on the water!
